Inaugurado en 1899 en la Universidad de Lyon, el Museo de los Moulages se encuentra ahora en un antiguo edificio industrial en el distrito 3. Inicialmente dedicado a la enseñanza de la historia del arte y la arqueología, hoy es también un lugar de mediación y difusión del conocimiento abierto a la ciudad. Su excepcional colección incluye cerca de 1.600 moldes de yeso, copias fieles y de tamaño natural de famosas rondas, bajorrelieves y estatuillas. Refleja la evolución de la escultura occidental desde la Grecia arcaica hasta el siglo XIX. Actualmente se presenta una selección de 200 moldes a lo largo de una ruta temática.
