The restaurant, or as it's specially called in Lviv, the "Pstrug, Bread, and Wine" tavern - is a relatively new establishment, having opened in 2013, but it devoutly preserves ancient culinary traditions. The legend behind the restaurant's creation is based on the sad story of a trumpeter's family, which was forced to leave their home - the Town Hall - due to destructions and settle next to a clockmaker. Thus, the huge clock at the entrance and the horn - an ancient musical instrument, serve as symbolic confirmations of this legend.

However, what most attracts residents and visitors of Lviv to this wonderful and atmospheric place is, of course, the food. The restaurant's menu might not be considered sophisticated, but it's quite appetizing. Here, one can enjoy excellent wines, taste one of the original salads of choice, and try the "soup of the day" following a unique recipe.

But undoubtedly, the main culinary delights of the restaurant are the homemade bread and pstrug - trout baked in an oven using a special Carpathian technique.
