Będąc służbowo w Lublinie, znalazłem chwilę, żeby odwiedzić to miejsce – i absolutnie nie żałuję. Synagoga Jeszywas Chachmej Lublin to nie tylko zabytek, ale bardzo dobrze zachowany i z szacunkiem zmodernizowany fragment historii tego miasta. Już od wejścia widać, że obiekt został starannie odrestaurowany – wnętrze robi duże wrażenie: wysokie okna, piękny bima, symboliczne detale i dobrze zachowane elementy wystroju. Czuć, że to przestrzeń, która ma znaczenie – nie tylko religijne, ale też edukacyjne i społeczne. Warto też wspomnieć o części muzealnej – ekspozycja poświęcona historii Jeszywas i jej założycieli jest naprawdę przemyślana. Nie przytłacza ilością treści, ale daje bardzo dobre tło historyczne. Plus za dostępność – lokalizacja przy Hotelu Ilan to świetne rozwiązanie, a godziny otwarcia umożliwiają spokojne zwiedzanie nawet po południu. Byłem krótko, ale to miejsce zostaje w pamięci.
