Really lovely. It's busy but so is the rest of London. Staff are really lovely. It's self explanatory but if you ask they will help. Food was delicious and we both ate for around £35 with a drink.

The food is AMAZING I was very surprised with the low rating The concept of Malatang, you either like it or not. You go, take the ingredients you want , weight them, choose the broth and they prepare your dish (simplified hotpot). If you don't like that, you prefer to be handled a menu, be served on the table and blah blah, just don't go, not the concept. It's like complaining about no meaty options in a vegan restaurant. Said that, food was super good. They warn you about the level of spicy. Listen to them because you can always add more chilli oil afterwards. It was full of Chinese so that means it was authentic as well. Water is free! As many refills as wished. I also saw complains on the price but they either changed prices or we had some sort of seasonal discount because it does not correspond with our experience. I spent 15 pounds with a soda. My male friends, 20 ( with a bigger plate). Recommend!

Food was amazing! The fish and veg were super fresh and tasted amazing in the beef bone broth! I’d highly recommend you try the tofu skin and black fungus mushrooms if you haven’t already as they soak up the flavour! We got the mild broth but it was still quite spicy for us but that’s because we don’t really eat spicy food but it was delicious nonetheless! The food came quickly and there was no service charge as you add the items yourself and collect your meal yourself however the ladies at the counter were super helpful and lovely! Great experience and great food!
