우정이란 상호에 호감이 가서 방문했는데 맞아 주신 여사장님(? 직원은 아닌 것 같은데)의 환한 미소는 우리의 텐션을 높여 주셨다. 음식을 주문하고 정말 맛있게 먹은 것 같다. 처음 방문하고 이틀을 지난 후 다시 방문했는데 우리를 알아보시고 반갑게 맞아 주는 센스는 왠지 모르게 정이 느껴졌다. 음식이 맛깔나서 좋은데 김치와 생수도 무료로 주는 서비스는 대박. 두 번째 방문한 날은 음식값을 할인(이런 말 해도 될까)해 주시면서 우리 마음을 시원케 하시는 것 아닌가. 수많은(30개국 넘게) 외국을 다녀봤지만 이런 해택은 처음이었다. 우리 부부는 고마워 하면서도 미안한 마음이 들었다. 아무튼 좋은 추억을 주신 사장님께 감사의 마음을 전하고 싶어 이렇게 장문의 글을 쓰게 되었다. 다음 달에는 사위와 딸이 신혼여행으로 영국에 오는데 꼭꼭 이 음식점(우정)을 가라고 해야겠단 생각이다. 런던을 여행하시는 분들이 이 글을 혹 보신다면 방문의 경험을 해봐도 엄청 좋을 것이란 판단이 들어 추천하고 싶다. 우리 부부는 5박6일의 여정을 마치고 파리로 넘어간다. 감사하다는 글을 마지막으로 드리고, 이 글을 읽어 주신 모든 분들 감사합니다.
