I bought sushi and sashimi rice to eat on the train. The sushi rice was just right-not too sour or overly raw-tasting. I’ve tried many supermarket sushi before, but most of them were disappointing: the rice was hard and had an overwhelming vinegar taste, and the sashimi didn’t taste very fresh. This time, however, I was pleasantly surprised-it was the best fast-food sushi I’ve ever had. It truly tasted delicious and well-prepared. Unfortunately, there isn’t a store like this in Newcastle, so it might be a while before I get to enjoy sushi of this quality again. I wonder when I’ll have the chance to savor sushi this good back in Newcastle.

bought a bento to eat on the train, and it was truly a pleasant surprise. I’ve tried various sushi places in supermarkets around the UK before and always found them disappointing, but I didn’t expect that this time I could finally enjoy sushi that actually tastes like proper sushi. This meal was truly satisfying. The only regret is that there isn’t a branch of this shop in Newcastle. I wonder when I’ll get the chance to enjoy it again in Newcastle?

Great little Bento shop upstairs in King's Cross Station. Just right for buying a good snack for the train. Friendly service at the counter. The food I chose was genuinely Japanese in flavour, including delicious seaweed. I shall definitely search them out again.
