Lovely cozy restaurant with classic dishes done simple and delicious without too much fuss, just non complicated and executed beautifully. Cooked with love with recipes passed down from generations. The baked aubergine (eggplant parmigiana) was exquisite as the eggplant was lightly fried, and the sauce you can tell is very light and homemade. Just a hint of basil and garlic. Lovely. The clams with linguini was just right. Reminded me of my Mama Rosaria's dish she made during Christmas eve. They give you bread and olives too. Nice gesture. Also wonderful feature that some dishes have option for starter or main dish portions. I really appreciated that feature.

We had lunch here on graduation day. We were a mixed bunch: peschetarians, vegetarians, drinkers, non-drinkers... one thing we have in common: we all agree the quality of the food at Vecchio Parioli is excellent. Thank you for accommodating our request to bring in our specially made graduation cupcakes too! I look forward to the next occasion :-)
