For a restaurant that is adorned by my shiny wood than any I've ever encountered, The Park is a wonderfully unflashy affair that just does what it does brilliantly. And you're guaranteed to have a great meal as a result. The decor is agonisingly opulent - a curious blend between past and present. It has the effect of making you feel like you've come to a "special occasion" restaurant and yet simultaneously feel completely at ease. An impressive feat. The menu is packed with comforting nostalgia. To start we enjoyed Steak Tartare and Shrimp Cocktail on ice. For main, a decidedly retro Cobb Salad and deeply satisfying Chicken Milanese accompanied by fries, tater tots and succotash. And for dessert, a slice of "dinner style" apple pie and a build your own sundae. Much is being made of the "high low" trend in London right now, but Jeremy King's restaurants mastered it decades ago. The Park is just the latest example. As we stumbled out after a couple too many watermelon negronis, we genuinely felt like we'd had a soul warming experience. That's what restaurants are supposed to be, after all...

LOVED the atmosphere. The design and how huge it is and everything else! Honestly we got the brunch and it wasn't as good. The potato was too hard and the pancakes dry.. the ice cream sundae was delicious in this sunny weather. but i will definitely be coming again for lunch or dinner! The atmosphere it self makes u wanna come again! The staff were friendly and professional.
