Got the tart - pastry was exceptional with a generous serving of salad. Perfectly seasoned and flavourful food made with love. Will be back!

Spacious, lively independent cafe founded by devoted owners. The food choices are broad and it is a misdeed not to accompany whatever you order with the delicious organic coffee, all served up by a tenacious and passionate team who go above and beyond to ensure exceptional customer service. The mocha with a pinch of sugar is my personal favourite. Additionally, vegan and GF options are available. The cafe is situated in a peaceful area of Clerkenwell which is known for the Sadler’s Well theatre and is an imperative corner of EC London if you are a foreign visitor looking to avoid tourist traps such as the pretentious and overly crowded Notting Hill. I hope you stumble upon this review, so that I can I implore you not waste your money in a corporate coffee chain; stop by Clerkenwell Kitchen for an authentic cafe experience instead. Landing at Heathrow Airport is perfect if your goal is to sit in café Nero eating overpriced packaged rubbish and subpar coffee beans. Lastly, when the café closes there are plenty of options for pubs and markets nearby.
