this is one of my new favourite restaurants in london. i messed up our booking and managed to book the wrong date for our table of 5, but the wonderful staff actually called me back to let me know that a table had just come available if we could make it that evening, so luckily enough we were able to get in! some of the best flavours i’ve ever had in london, highly recommend some of the less familiar small plates - current faves are the assorted japanese pickles (think smoked pickle and yuzu skin) as well as the deep fried lotus root! thank you thank you to the lovely staff for squeezing us in last minute on friday night and especially to the staff member with the beautiful purple hair for being so lovely, we will definitely be back soon!!!

Lots of interesting dishes, Japanese and of good quality, stand out was the salmon teriyaki and agedoshi tofu. Lots of small plates to try and experiment with, a very different take on tempura!
