Dora is amazing — always smiling, going the extra mile, and making sure my coffee is perfect! Nilay, the “manager,” is often on his phone, attempting to “discipline” staff in front of customers. This shows a lack of professionalism and an apparent weakness in leadership. He appears more focused on asserting authority than fostering a positive environment. I’d recommend reviewing the store’s management standards.

I live in Japan and haven’t been to Starbucks very often, so when I was asked for my name while ordering, I didn’t quite understand and simply replied, “Name?”. When I went to collect my drink, the barista called out with a cheerful smile, “Mr No Name!”, and that’s when I realised what they had meant. We both burst out laughing. Their warm sense of humour and kind service made all the difference. Although it was late November and quite cold in London, that moment truly warmed my heart. It’s become one of my fondest memories from the trip.
