The food was good as usual! I had Sensukhothai, Namtok, and Gai Tod Hatyai it’s really legit. As someone from the south of Thailand, it really made me miss my hometown. I ended the meal with Khao Niew Mamuang, and everything was so good. P’Jom was also really helpful and has such a great service mind. Love this place!

I tried a variety of dishes here, so here’s my honest breakdown: Som Tum Thai – It was okay, but not really my style. I’m more into the bold Isaan/Lao flavors - funky, spicy, and punchy. This version leaned sweeter and milder, more of a farang-friendly flavor. Sen Su Kho Thai – Also good, but it didn’t give me that wow effect. Nice enough, but not super memorable for me. Zabb Chicken Wings – Absolutely delicious! Crispy on the outside, with the perfect balance of spicy, salty, sweet, and sour. Easily one of the highlights of the meal. Hat Yai Chicken with Sticky Rice – So good. Nothing to complain about at all - it really tasted like Thailand. Now I understand why it’s their best-selling dish and why Lisa from Blackpink called it delicious. It completely lived up to the hype. Roasted Duck on Rice – My boyfriend’s pick. He said it was good, though in Thailand it’s definitely better. Still enjoyable, but not outstanding. Thai Iced Milk Tea – Sweet, creamy, and refreshing. A really nice complement to the meal. ✨ Overall: Slurp Thai Spitalfields serves up some solid dishes. For me, the real standouts were the Zabb wings, the Hat Yai chicken with sticky rice, and the Thai iced milk tea - all absolute must-orders. Some of the other dishes leaned a bit too mild or “safe” compared to the punchy Thai flavors I love, but overall it’s a good spot if you’re craving Thai comfort food in London.
