This is a gem of a place; an absolute find locally. Quirky, but without being pretentious. I've been here twice recently; the first time I treated a friend, and the second time a different friend treated me. It's not a cheap option but the sharing plates, at £25 a head, are still good value for mixed starters and mains. The food is innovative and delicious. I could always use more seasoning (salt and pepper on the tables would be good) and I like to add freshly squeezed lemon, which was produced when asked for. The staff team is attentive, charming, kind and helpful and the service is prompt and efficient. I hope they change the menu as I'm going there again soon, but would just like to see some new food items added. The dessert menu can stay unchanged though! We were busy chatting so I forgot about taking some good photos, but managed to photograph our peach pavlova and date/chocolate desserts.
