Seabird is just a short 6-minute walk from Blackfriars station, perched on the 14th floor of The Hoxton. Though you enter through the hotel, there’s a direct lift to the restaurant. You’re greeted at the door by a friendly host who points you towards the lift, and once upstairs, another warm welcome awaits in a space that’s about style and ambience. The menu leans heavily towards seafood, with dishes offered in small, medium, and large portions depending on your appetite, plus a good range of sides. We ordered the grilled octopus, a small charcuterie plate, salad, potato fries, and some salmon ; everything was fresh and delicious. The views alone are worth the visit, with London’s skyline and city lights creating the perfect backdrop. What stood out most, though, was the staff – consistently attentive and friendly. All in all, a beautiful evening.
