The staff were very lovely and this place is great value/flavour for money! That said, some of the ratios meant that we had a lot of rice for a small (yet delicious) amount of coconut falafel curry, and the fried noodles just had a sort of generic teriyaki taste. The 2-4-1 drinks were great and this seems like the perfect place to go for dinner before a night out.

We were tempted by so many places when walking around Tooting Market, but we came for Saveur Tropicale so we stuck with our plan (we'll return to try some more places). I didn't know what to expect from Mauritian food, but what we had was incredible - Prawn and lamb boutella (like meatballs), the calamari and chicken spring rolls were incredible - my favourite thing on the menu. We also had a side of quite special potato salad, and split a main of mutton kreole curry - rich and sharp, it was great with the roti.
