I absolutely love this place. I’ve been coming here since the pandemic. And the quality has not waned since. The food is authentic, packed with flavour, and delicious. The dishes aren’t just the usual things you find in Thai restaurants- there are more interesting dishes like soft shell crab. Beautiful. The location is great - a short walk from the noise and chaos of the Hammersmith roundabout. The decor inside is trippy. You have a unicorn on the wall. Ornate chandeliers in a very intimate space. The only downside is the toilet is so small and close to the kitchen which feels dodgy but it’s such a small place, you kind of have to make do. I’ll keep coming here as long as the restaurant exists even though we leave further away than we did in the pandemic. That tells you how good this place is. The suki yaki noodles are unbelievable.

Hate is a cozy spot with a really warm, welcoming vibe—perfect for hanging out with friends. The place feels relaxed and comfortable, making it easy to settle in and enjoy a good meal and conversation. The food has that bold Asian-style flavor you’d expect from great Thai cuisine. Whether it's a curry, noodles, or stir-fry, everything tastes fresh and full of flavor. Portions are solid, and the dishes are beautifully presented without feeling too fancy. The staff here are super friendly and helpful. They’re happy to chat, give recommendations, or adjust things to your taste. It adds a nice personal touch that makes the whole experience feel more inviting. If you're looking for a laid-back place with tasty food and good vibes, Poppy’s is definitely worth checking out. Great for casual meetups or just grabbing a comforting Thai meal.
