The taste absolutely lives up to the hype—this is the best Thai food I’ve had in England so far. Of course, the prices are what you’d expect for Thai food in London. I have to take off just a little point for the jasmine rice—it didn’t quite have that ideal aroma and texture I was hoping for. Service was up to British standards—efficient and polite.

Plaza Khao Gaeng is an absolute gem! The atmosphere is buzzing and feels just like a Thai street canteen. The food is bold, authentic, and packed with flavor. The Massaman beef curry was rich and comforting, and the spicy pork (Klua Kling Muu) was incredible (and seriously fiery!). Staff were friendly, quick, and happy to recommend dishes. Prices are very reasonable for central London given the quality. Easily one of the best Thai meals I’ve had outside Thailand and can’t wait to go back!
