Nice Oat Iced Latte from No. 41 Coffee just now. Tasty and a little stronger on the coffee side than others I have sampled in the local area. Good for a mid-afternoon pick me up! The cafe is well appointed. I did not spend too long in here as I was only taking away. the branding was interesting and I enjoyed the sign hanging near the entrance. This is worth visiting to get a coffee from, I cannot speak for the quality of the food but it looked tasty from what I could see.

Just bought a takeaway coffee and cake. The coffee was pretty good but I got back to the office and what had looked like a nice slice of carrot cake was past its best and dry. I also found out it was the even drier end slice I’d been given when there were still 2 middle slices left and displayed to the front. I couldn’t see what I was being given from the other side of the counter so I was the one chosen to be fobbed off with this piece. Surely you should give customers a better piece while you have it (as you obviously have with the rest of the cake) and then when it gets to the last slice make that customer aware it’s the end slice they are getting so they can decide if they want it or not. A real shame. I am about to start working more regularly in the area and there aren’t many other options around here.
