I had a very disappointing experience with Nando’s Kilburn when ordering via Deliveroo. Within just two minutes of placing the order, I called the branch to request leg pieces instead of breast for the quarter chicken. The manager initially claimed the order had already been packed, which I highly doubt given how quickly I called. He then changed his explanation and said the order had already been collected, even though the Deliveroo app clearly showed it was still being prepared. When I tried to ask why I could not just call and specify what I wanted, and questioned how the order could have been collected when he had just told me it was still there seconds earlier, I was told that you can only choose what cut you want when dining in. This seemed strange and made very little sense. When I called back and politely asked for the manager’s name, without even mentioning that I wanted to raise a complaint, he refused to provide it and hung up on me. Unhelpful, dismissive and unprofessional. I will not be ordering from this branch again. Nando’s should seriously review how this location is being managed.
