We booked after reading the good reviews and were not disappointed. I had the miso soup to warm up as it was pouring with rain outside - it was a nice start to the meal. We had warm sake to drink, what’s not to like about sake! I had the chicken Katsu and it was magnificent! Crispy, juicy chicken, plenty rice and that Japanese curry sauce - so satisfying. Initially I thought it might be too much sauce but it was not. My friend had the salmon teriyaki bowl, very well presented and she loved it. The skin crispy and the ingredients seemed fresh and that lots of pride and care was taken in its preparation. The server was lovely too - not intrusive but attentive enough. Looking forward to retuning and trying the prawn katsu!
