I visited this restaurant a few years ago, and now compelled to write a review given some of the moronic and infantile responses to quite a candid and fair article written recently which has been picked up nationally. Food was excellent. We had a mix of plates, nearly all the starters on the curated menu, and it was fantastic. Atmosphere was buzzing, smiles and clearly a well put together team in the kitchen and front of house. I really enjoyed my time there and I hope to come back soon. Ignore the 1 star reviews. Jaded miserable individuals with nothing better to do.

Mangal II is a tour de force. I’ve been privileged enough to eat amazing food all around the world, but Mangal II represents the best of Britain. Flawless from start to finish, well priced, expertly seasoned, an accomplished homage to its Turkish roots whilst incorporating a graceful nod to modern British influences. Unmissable
