While exploring SE22, I stumbled upon Madelina Café on East Dulwich Grove—a low-key neighbourhood gem with a calm, characterful vibe. It’s perfect for solo brunches or relaxed catch-ups. The veggie breakfast was excellent: halloumi, falafel, fried egg (well done, just as I asked), mushrooms with garlic and onion, tomato, spinach, and buttered sourdough. Flavours were fresh and well balanced. Plenty of Mediterranean-inspired options, including vegan and veggie dishes. The latte hit the spot too. A lovely little café worth seeking out.
