Nice coffee/breakfast/lunch place on Abbey Road. Inside is a little bit confined but the outside seating terrace is popular. Coffee is just ok but food was very nicely done. I had the Shakshuka which was tasty and filling: enough for 2 easily. Fried eggs were also presented very well with salad and thick slices of sourdough. Plenty of good looking pastries (I didn’t try any) to go with the coffee. Prices are not bad for the area.

I’ve visited London Coffee Bank several times and it’s consistently one of the best cafés around. The place is clean, stylish and welcoming with a calm atmosphere that works well whether you’re popping in solo or with family. The staff are friendly, attentive and always ready with helpful suggestions. It’s kid-conscious too, with lovely outdoor seating when the weather is nice. Best of all, all the food is halal which makes it easy to recommend. ⸻ Hot Beverages The coffee has a strong, rich flavour with more of an Italian profile. It leans on the bitter side so if you’re used to smooth Colombian coffee you might prefer it as a latte or with milk. The iced matcha is solid and they offer a good range of milks. I tried both cow’s milk and oat and found the oat milk to be smooth and just right for the drink. ⸻ Smoothies The smoothies here are excellent. The pineapple smoothie is fresh and uplifting while the avocado one is thick and creamy. There’s also a super green smoothie which I expected to be a bit too healthy but it turned out to be really well balanced and enjoyable. It’s great if you want something nutritious without sacrificing taste. ⸻ Pastries The almond croissant is a personal favourite. It’s large with a lovely golden exterior and filled with a generous layer of almond cream near the bottom. A real treat for any adult. Due to its size and the amount of cream, it’s not ideal for splitting with a child. ⸻ Sandwiches and Light Meals The beef pastrami sandwich was full of flavour with the mustard adding just the right amount of sharpness. I also had the spicy prawn sandwich which was a pleasant surprise. Flavours were spot on but you’ll want to hold it carefully or the filling might slide out. ⸻ Breakfast and Mains The eggs Benedict was well made with perfectly cooked eggs and a balanced hollandaise. The full English included all the essentials and was filling and satisfying. My only critique would be to upgrade the sausages for something better. The Spanish omelette with added cheese and mushrooms was one of the best things I’ve had here. Simple and exactly how I like it. ⸻ Salads The beetroot and goat’s cheese salad is delicious and comes with walnuts and a generous portion. It’s a great option if you want something lighter, especially after a workout. ⸻ All the meals I’ve had here include a fresh side salad which is a thoughtful touch. London Coffee Bank offers great food, brilliant service and a menu that covers everything from indulgent to healthy. With halal options throughout and consistent quality, it’s become a regular favourite of mine. Highly recommended.
