Great little Vietnamese neighborhood restaurant that serves tasty food at an excellent price. The service provided by the manager is very good. We like to come here when we feel like eating something healthy and flavourful.

The venue was about 15/20 minutes’ walk from the Westferry Circus Car Park. You see a wall of Green bottles, you know you have arrived at the correct entrance to the venue. We had reserved a table for 6. We were seated at the far right of the restaurant by the co-owner of the restaurant. Glad we did as it soon filled up with others waiting for spaces to become available. I would say the capacity is 30 at a stretch. If you are expecting a wow factor interior, you will be disappointed. The decor and seating are quite basic and it was rather warm as no fan or air-conditioning was on. The highlight of that room is the fetching hanging circular lantern lights, swaying in the wind that was attempting to enter the room. This aside, we had come here to sample the cuisine that a member of our party had researched about. Once we all decided, we placed our order. The Vegetable Spring Rolls were perfectly crispy with a balanced filling. Went well with the supplied sweet chilli dip. To suit some dietary needs, they were flexible enough to make some of our dishes without any garlic or chilli, so that was good. Salt & Chilli Tofu and the Salt & Chilli Aubergine without chilli and garlic hit the mark. With reference to the Bún with Crispy Tofu (we were expecting a Bún, but we were served just small pieces of coated cubed tofu) - Dan Dan Noodles were wholesome and tasty sprinkled with spring onions - Stir-Fried Cumin Beef was inviting and was enjoyed by the one member in our party - We wanted a chicken-based variation of the Stir-Fried Cumin Beef as well. Unfortunately, this could not be done. What we finally agreed on was Stir Fried Cumin Prawns which proved to be a successful option. Perhaps they can add that to the menu. We had 3 portions of Rice to accompany this feast. Each of the dishes came and they were excellent and cooked to perfection and piping hot. My personal Pièce de resistance was the Prawn Tamarind; wow is how I would describe it. Married with the additional sliced fresh red chilli and chilli oil we requested, it hit the perfect balance 10/10. This would be my Number one Choice. We even took the Green Papaya Prawn Salad as a takeaway but it didn’t materialise until the very end and only when we reminded the owner a few times, obviously warn out my now. The dessert choice in really minimalistic, choice of Banana fritters, vanilla ice-cream and Mochi. We settled on the fritters and ice-cream to conclude the event which again was tasty. We could not get our Westferry Circus 3-hour Car Park complimentary parking validated as this restaurant is beyond its zone, so we ended paying £10 parking. Also, some active cooling needs to be provided for customers comfort as it was far too warm in there. It would also be nice to have the option on a few more dishes to substitute chicken for those who do not eat beef or pork. A 10% gratuity is added to the bill. We would recommend it is best to Book a table well in advance as it fills up quickly. You don't want...
