I’d firstly like to start with the positives. The show was great and was really enjoyed by all. We were a party of 24 and everyone enjoyed the show. However sadly we felt extremely let down by a number of things. - when we were arrived, we didn’t receive a welcome drink, which, as a silver package booking we should have recieved. When I raised this with the staff member he told me that he was 100% sure that we were not entitled to one, which I kindly said to him I was 100% sure we were. We were then brought over a drink however was advised it was a ‘gift from them’ when actually, it was what we had paid for and entitled too. - secondly, the service charge. We were advised to order our drinks at the bar all night as this would be quicker. For every drink we were served we were charged a service charge. For 24 of us, purchasing a number of drinks each, that charge soon amounts up. - we were told that the service charge was optional however as we were leaving we were told that we had to settle the service charge before we left. I advised that we were informed that it was optional and therefore wouldn’t be leaving the £612 being requested. By this point our entire party had left. I was informed by the waiter that if I don’t pay the service charge then he may as well have no worked that evening. He asked us out the back and to go downstairs (to where we believed the manager was) however as two young girls, we weren’t comfortable to do this, whilst being demanded for money. We agree that we pay half the service charge, which we did. - the food in our opinion although tasty was cold. - the way that staff demanded the service charge put me off leaving any service charge as we were made to feel intimidated. - We asked for our bill a few times within a 20 minute period as we knew we had to leave for the train. By this point our entire party had left, making it very for us to sort our bill.
