Wanted to visit for a while. Was not disappointed. Staff were really friendly and helpful adding to the create atmosphere. I love the style and decor. We had food which was really good and stuck to American theme. I even ate all my cornbread!? We went on a Thursday and had live music by Charlotte Young who had come down from Birmingham. She was great, open to requests and lovely to chat to afterwards. Planning my next visit very soon!

The good: The food was really quite nice guys. Somewhere between Harvester and Bodean’s. More towards the Bodean’s end,, but not quite that good (and a little underseasoned). But solid all the way. The music was als good, the staff friendly, etc. The bad: The volume. Jesus, the volume. Admittedly we went in on Sunday lunchtime, but the live band (who were good) drowned out all attempt to talk, to the point that it got annoying. Appropriate volume for evening, but not a Sunday lunch. Just needed a limiter on the vocals.
