Had a wonderful time at Lido eating from mainly their dim sum menu. Everything tasted great and was reasonably priced. This included their siu mai, har gow, minced prawn in bean curd, and chicken feet which were all exactly how I wanted from dim sum. I also loved their spare ribs but would only recommend if you don’t mind meat fat. My favourite dim sum item was their glutinous rice with mixed meat and prawn which came wrapped in a lotus leaf. This was warm, chewy, flavourful and just a delight. I also absolutely loved their stir-fried dry beef ho fun which came with a very generous amount of tender beef. One of the best ho fun’s I’ve had in Chinatown. Also tried their coconut taro sago dessert which was okay but would say it’s probably best to find dessert elsewhere. Overall, had a great time and would definitely recommend!

Authentic, great quality Chinese dim sum for affordable prices. Total bill came to just under £40 for 4 dim sum , one noodle dish and two jasmine tea! Was very busy inside was was sat downstairs but service was stil very quick. Food was more than enough for two people, probably could have ordered one less dim sum. Highly recommend the dry fried beef ho fun, the noodles are savoury and chewy and it has huge amounts of beef.
