Coming out of the lift, the staff warmly welcomed us and took us to our table outside. We were further welcomed by an open space with views of the St James Park, The London Eye, Big Ben, and Lord Nelson Column. How is that for iconic views? The decor is simple outside - minimalist and it works. We had a wander inside the restaurant, and there they have more intricate upholstery. The inside of the restaurant has also 180degree views of London via glass panels. For the dining experience, went for the tasting menu with wine pairing and thought both food and wine was exceptional. Our somelier (didn't get his name on Aug 2) was very kind and knowledgeable indeed - very straightforward to talk to and made it all work for us! Thank you! The team was also accommodating when we asked to move of our seat due to a slightly noisy group of guest nearby. The Hotel itself is grand and beautifully decorated. The lift up to the restaurant is glass panelled - one can see the different floors of the hotel as you go up to the restaurant It was such a pleasurable experience - what a gem! We will definitely come back again!

We only came for pre-dinner drinks. We felt so welcome and really appreciated the little birthday cake the staff gave my son for his 21st. Loved the barman (sorry - didn't get his name). Amazing cocktails. We let him choose cocktails for our second round and they were delicious too. Such an amazing venue with a view over the rooftops of Whitehall. Thanks to everyone who helped get our night off to an amazing start.
