This is my top pick for breakfast whenever I visit London. Authentic Indian meal with unlimited masala chai (or coffee) for just £8. Every day it’s a different option so check the website or call in advance to confirm. The Sunday dosa are fantastic. Would highly recommend!

We went one Friday lunchtime, first visit, and had a few dishes (dhal, okra, raita, what I thought was fish but was chicken, onion bhaji, rice/chapati). Plus: tasty food, nice dining hall, friendly staff. Minus: the food wasn’t at all hot, and it was costly (but it’s central London and we did have a lot of food…). But really, please serve hot food. A cold chapati is no fun.
