Wanted a quick and easier dinner, and was craving a curry in London! Indian Gourmet was one of the few recommendations from the London Bridge area, and after reading the great reviews I thought why not give it a go! We both got our own butter chicken, a basmati rice and garlic naan to share. We love Indian food and it lived up to, if not was better than the Indian we find in Australia. Not to mention the orange chocolate they gave us at the end- delicious and thoughtful 😇. Super impressed and affordable ☺️

What a wonderful Indian meal! The naan bread was mouth-watering—served warm, soft, and full of flavour. The peshwari naan, in particular, was a standout: sweet, nutty, and perfectly balanced. The garlic chilli mushrooms were the crowning glory—a bold and fiery highlight worthy of royalty on the Indian dining scene. My main course, the saag chicken with rice, was another triumph—rich, well-spiced, and beautifully cooked. Unfortunately, I have to deduct a point for the vegan main, Aloo Kala Chana Soya, which sadly fell flat. It lacked flavour and texture, and felt like an afterthought. This seems to be a common issue with vegan options—there’s often an assumption that spice and richness must be toned down or replaced with excessive oil, which rarely works. That said, for non-vegans, this meal is absolutely worth ordering—delicious, satisfying, and full of authentic charm.
