The food. 🍜 The seafood ramen was a beautiful bowl of comfort—brimming with fresh ingredients and bold, balanced flavours. Each spoonful was pure satisfaction. 🥗 The salmon poke bowl was just as impressive: vibrant, clean, and made with obvious care. It’s rare to find dishes so clearly cooked to order, and you can taste the difference. Every part of the experience felt thoughtfully curated, and the chef deserves a standing ovation. Fresh, delicious, and served with heart—Hitachi is a must-visit spot for anyone craving elevated Japanese cuisine without the fuss. If you’re near Woolwich Arsenal and haven’t tried Hitachi yet, you’re seriously missing out.

Lunch menu is good value for money and a variety of selection. They don't have many staff and they are very busy so don't expect very fast service. No service charge was charged tho so it's fine. The table was unfortunately quite sticky. The bento, while good value, could benefit from having a slice of lemon to balance the flavour and/or have customer to add their own soy sauce if possible. Vibe is good but looks slightly wear and teared.
