This chotpoti did not come to play. From the very first bite I knew it was different like, life-before-and-after levels of different. The flavor combo just snapped, no hesitation. It’s giving comfort food, it’s giving serotonin, it’s giving “I could eat this every single day and not get tired.” If you haven’t tried it yet, what are you actually doing with your life??

I recently visited Hello Dhaka, a restaurant that brings the vibrant flavors of Dhaka’s street food right here to London, and overall, it was a delightful experience. The food quality was very good, and it really captured the essence of authentic Bangladeshi street bites. The fuchka was fresh and flavorful, though I personally felt the sauces and chutneys could be richer and more balanced—they’re such a big part of the fuchka experience, and a little improvement here would make it absolutely perfect. The halim was impressive, with a generous portion of meat and a satisfying taste. I would have loved a slightly deeper richness in the flavors, but it was still enjoyable and comforting. The momos were another highlight—soft, tasty, and definitely worth trying. Again, if the accompanying sauce were elevated with a bit more depth, this dish would be a real showstopper. Overall, Hello Dhaka is definitely worth visiting for anyone craving Dhaka’s street food in London. The food is authentic, the quality is good, and with a little refinement in the sauces, this place could easily become a go-to favorite. I’ll certainly be visiting again soon!
