This was a first visit to the Chiswick location but I have been to the Kensington one numerous times over the years. It was quite easy to get a table as a walk-in on a Saturday evening. The 3 of us ordered the chicken karaage, soft shell crab, prawn tempura, sashimi selection, Singapore noodles, curry laksa and the black bean beef with rice. The food was all nice enough, I’m not quite sure if it was as good as the Kensington location but we did order a few different menu items which makes it harder to compare. Service was fine. The bill came to £131 of which £37 was spent on drinks. Overall a nice enough dinner, cheap and cheerful, but more of a local neighbourhood spot and not one worth going out of your way for.

I can't discount a single thing we ate here. I had the curry laksa, and my husband had the tantanmian. They were both delicious! The unagi nigiri was also tasty. The staff were kind and attentive, the restaurant itself is comfortable. We had an easy time splitting the bill with a friend.
