Disappointing Experience at Gordon Ramsay Burger, Harrods We had high expectations given Gordon Ramsay’s reputation and our past excellent experiences at his restaurants in Dubai (Caesars Palace and Atlantis). Unfortunately, our visit to Harrods was a big disappointment from start to finish. We ordered the Hell’s Kitchen burger and the Hell’s Spicy Chicken Salad, along with other burgers and French fries. The burgers were served without asking how we wanted them cooked, and the taste was average at best. The French fries were especially poor — small, overcooked, and hard, as if they were the last batch left in the kitchen rather than freshly made. The Hell’s Spicy Chicken Salad had such an unpleasant taste that we could not eat it at all. The rest of the burgers were unremarkable. Service was slow — both in taking the order and in preparing the food — and the staff never checked if the dishes were satisfactory. For a restaurant of this name and price point, this was unacceptable. Overall, the meal was overpriced, of low quality, and far below the standards we have come to expect from Gordon Ramsay’s restaurants. Sadly, I would not recommend this location.
