Had a fantastic lunch here today, even though it was super busy, the two ladies serving were very kind and accomodating, even though the rush was ongoing for the whole time I was there. I had the BBQ eel and cold kimchi noodles, they were the most authentic Korean dishes I've had in the UK, the place is quite small so you might need to wait to be seated, very cozy and clean. I liked the food so much that I ordered my dinner to go as I was catching a train in Waterloo and the jjajang, pickled radish and kimchi pancake were so tasty and a lovely way to end the day. The lady serving brought me water without even asking and was around for any questions, even though it was very busy! Can't wait to be back and will be my go to whenever I'm around Waterloo. Thank you for a lovely lunch!

Cheap and cheerful lunch. Sat down, ordered, and food arrived within 3 minutes. I ordered kimchi fried rice and it was not mind blowing but tasty enough with plenty of kimchi. Sides and soup included for £9 is a bargain! Staff were friendly. Will definitely come again if I'm in the area. Wasn't sure why some people were writing negative reviews - but I noticed some people expecting dolsot bibimbap. Note for the lunch set they only serve normal bibimbap. The rice is typically served luke warm, and the bowl will not be hot!

It’s a cozy restaurant that was packed for the night. Don’t expect much for ambiance, will say they keep it clean though. Ordered the Tteok-bokki, japchae and tofu stew which came out in ten minutes. The standout were the rice cakes for being chewy but still flavor fully impressed in the sauce. The stew was great for the windy weather but not a stand out. Japchae noodles were decent, chewy, springy but again missing some flavor. Service was subpar most because we asked for water twice and didn’t receive it. Understand that they were rushing to close but it takes like a minute 😭 Solid food and good value for money.
