It was fine. Fairly quick service with friendly “ ish” service but honestly I would not rush back. In my experience the Cote chain is better & certainly better quality. The food did not stand out & honestly The service was a bit “we are bored”. Could do better which could make a great difference as the location is excellent.

Oyster Tuesday by the River at Gazette Battersea Discovered a fantastic riverside treat at Gazette Battersea — every Tuesday they serve up fresh oysters for just £2 each, right on the Thames! Set against the beautiful backdrop of houseboats and city views, the atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. Staff in nautical stripes, rustic barrel tables, and a sunny terrace make it feel like a mini escape to the French Riviera. Perfect spot for a casual afternoon bite or a cheeky seafood fix during a walk along the river. Fresh oysters, friendly service, and unbeatable views — a hidden gem worth visiting if you’re in Battersea on a Tuesday.
