We enjoyed our lunch with roasted artichokes, risotto, fried courgette flowers with mozzarella, fettuccini with summer truffles and the teee-raaa-meee-suuu so much, the service was excellent and the manager made my day with serving the best olives I’ve ever tried. We definitely will come back for more!

We’ve been coming to the restaurant for the past eight years, and although we don’t live locally, we always look forward to returning. The service is consistently excellent, the setting is lovely, and the food is usually fantastic. On this visit, we started with a delicious red onion and tomato salad with seabass ceviche – beautifully fresh and well-balanced. I opted for the spaghetti carbonara, which I’ve enjoyed many times before, but this time it was quite dry. The guanciale was particularly fatty, with some chunky pieces that overwhelmed the dish. The Parmesan was also quite strong and seemed to overpower the flavour of the carbonara itself. My partner had the roasted chicken, which was a little inconsistent – some parts were dry while others were juicy. However, the sauce was excellent. The accompanying vegetables were fine, though the potatoes seemed slightly undercooked or possibly pre-prepared earlier in the day. Despite this, we’ll definitely be back. We love the atmosphere and the overall experience. No place can be perfect every time, and we look forward to our next visit.
