This is a great venue with a brilliant atmosphere, great selection of wines, tasty (but overpriced) food and friendly & attentive staff.
Great wine & large selection ✅
Stunning views & terrace ✅
Friendly, attentive and quick service ✅
The value for money on the food is slightly comical however. It all tastes great -- the cauliflower fritti, mozzarella with figs, smoked trout were all 10/10 - but the prices charged are laughable considering the portion size.
£8 for half an iceberg lettuce with a bit of sauce on top. £12 for a few slices of tomato with capers. £14 for two chopped figs and a ball of mozzarella. ‘Pork belly-wrapped spring onions’ with wafer thin amounts of pork…I know we’re doing up hip London small plates here, but come on people!!
Overall, would definitely come here again - but might have dinner before I do!
