Popped into Float Coffee on a quiet weekend afternoon and honestly, it was a nice little spot to chill. There was only one person working the whole shop, so when someone else came in after me, it took a bit of time to get served. But nothing too crazy. There’s a good amount of seating throughout, especially towards the back, though it does feel a bit dim since there’s not much natural light. They do have a small terrace with some seats if you prefer being outside. I got an iced black for £3.70 which felt decently priced. The flavour was nicely balanced, neither too sour nor too bitter. Personally, I prefer my black coffee a bit more on the sour side, but this was still solid. Ended up staying for a few hours with my laptop and it’s definitely a laptop-friendly place. Loads of sockets scattered around and reliable WiFi, which is always a win. Fun little fact: I found out they are owned by the same people who run Holy Shot just down the road. Makes sense, they’ve both got that same laid-back vibe.
