Went there for a quick lunch being a uni student and the service was very welcoming. I had a miso ramen which was nice however I felt I was just given the fat portion of the pork on it. Otherwise the atmosphere is nice it feels like you have walked in to a restaurant in Japan. The only reason why I gave it a 4 star for atmosphere is because the kitchen can be tucked away or shown and displayed properly rather than having kitchen utensils on display. Overall a nice experience and will be going back.

The salmon teriyaki was perfectly fine, the £14.50 price point for a bento box is okay too. But I find the meal underwhelming. Certain details that are quintessential to Japanese food just wasn’t there. There was no sauce to accompany the lettuce for example, or that I had to ask for wasabi as it wasn’t served with the bento box, even though they put a couple of maki rolls in there. I can name a couple of Japanese restaurants nearby I’d rather visit next time.
