I’ve been there like 20+ times. The chef is an amazing person and you could see him cooking from the table. I was quite surprised that Dong yuan is a 3.9 rating on average. It seems like (from the negative reviews) there’re some issues with take outs, I don’t have a say in that as I never ordered a take out. Eat in, you’ll enjoy the place.

朋友极力推荐的湖南菜，千里迢迢一个多小时的车来试了。店面很小，主要做外卖。在外面吃的时候可以看到师傅在里面大火炒菜，有国内苍蝇小馆那味儿了。总体味道不错，但和正宗湖菜菜比起来调味没那么辣那么香，但是有正宗湖南菜那么油。还是好吃的，这种正宗的感觉在伦敦可以独树一帜，羡慕住在附近的人。但住的好远，下次应该不会长途跋涉来了
