I came here for lunch on my own. The welcome was friendly, attentive and service prompt. I had the green chicken curry with a naan and a glass of wine...all very reasonably priced..especially for this area. Would definitely come back if in this area again. They don't have a facility to add the tip to the bill on the machine and I didn't have cash so I felt bad I couldn't leave a little something.

Excellent Indian restaurant. The food is top tier, very fresh, and abundant in flavour, even the papadom! The pashwari naan was one of the softest, lightest naans I've ever had. Though it would benefit from more coconut as this was also quite light. The falafel Bhuna (it's a curry) was very nice. The falafel was soft, light, fresh and crispy with plenty of flavour, esp in combination with the curry which was also light but flavour, bursting with fresh herbs and spices. This was a completely vegan dish and there is a good selection of Vegan and vegetarian dishes. The pilau rice was well done, not sticky and not hard but just right. At 3/4pm when I went the atmosphere was was chilled and quiet with light jazz/Indian fusion music playing low in the background. The setting is lovely and the fixtures and fittings feel high quality. The staff were friendly and attentive even if I did think they were on the quiet and more reserved side. The prices are towards the mid/high end of things, especially if you're used to your 'local indian' kinda prices but, Dilchad's prices are not crazy at all. My bill came to £29 for the Bhuna, Pashwari naan, Pilau rice and one papadom with dips/chutneys and a pineapple juice. A couple could easily enjoy a filling meal for two with drinks for well under £100 I didn't finish mine but, the food was too good to waste so I took it all home for later 👌

Great vegan choices that bring us back time and again. Not many places do a decent vegan korma, they do here. And left my bag behind by mistake and they kept it safe. Good service and atmosphere, cheers
