Nice friendly cafe. However they went on summer holiday mid 2024 and haven't come back yet... been closed since. I hope everything is OK? Picture taken midday on 18/10/24. Update: 29/06/25 - unfortunately nothing has changed, the cafe remains closed and the shutters are always down. Sadly I think it's time to call this as Permanently Closed.

Really nice place for a traditional English fry-up. Owners are polite and welcoming, and prices are reasonable and not super expensive. I really enjoy the mushrooms, and they have proper bacon, black pudding, bubble and squeak and other extras you can order depending on what set breakfast (out of 7) that you order.
