This sandwich shop, hidden down Fetter Lane, gets very busy at lunch time. I decided to try the fabled chicken escalope sandwich with high expectations. Sadly I think it falls short of the mark at the price of £8.50. I opted for the cheese (which did add an extra quid), the olive bread (which is very nice to be fair), and the standard salad (extras cost more). Overall it's fine as a sandwich, but not at that price. Add into the mix there's Leather Lane a stones throw away where £8.50 will get you most options and better flavours; I don't think it's worth it. Worth pointing out they do other fillings/sandwiches for around £6 which is probably better value, but reviewing based on what I had. The service is decent considering how hectic they get; friendly staff.

The staff that work there are beyond brilliant. They’re kind and patient even when there is a huge queue. The food was wonderful and the portions are huge.
