Nan bread was stale. Poppadums were stale. Asked for water several times, never got it. Lamb Blast was good. We ate there 3 years ago when it was Nazrul. Much better then.

Food is acceptable. Prices are ridiculous for Brick Lane (lamb curry, veg side and 2 naans = almost £30! One further star lost for the 12.5% service charge - let the customer decide!

Not a 5 star experience. Firstly despite an online booking at Cinnamon we were taken to the restaurant next door (Aladin), there was some muttering about having expanded their business but no money has been spent yet on modernising the Aladin establishment. We were then pressured to order our food within 5 mins of sitting down, but even so when our food arrived it was lukewarm at best. Flavour was fairly good but our lamb was tough. When the bill arrived it was hand written and hard to decipher leaving us unsure if we had been charged service / corkage / or even the right number of dishes. We were due a 20% online booking discount and had to ask for this directly. So I can't offer a better score for service.
