I discovered this restaurant through the Amex app, which offered a 10% discount for dine-in experiences to Amex Gold cardholders, and I was certainly not disappointed. The ambience was delightful, and the food was even more impressive. I can confidently say that I enjoyed one of the finest, if not the very best, biryanis in London. I specifically asked for my food to be prepared Indian-level spicy, and the chef exceeded my expectations. The Amritari fish tikka, Butter Chicken, and Chicken Biryani were all exceptional, perfectly balanced in spices and flavors. However, the Chicken Biryani stood out as the clear winner. I extend my sincere gratitude to Ketan, who provided excellent service, patiently accommodated all my requests, and effectively communicated them to the chef. I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Indian food.

Chook Chook was delicious, the taste and quality of the food was elevated above your bog standard high street curry house, but the portion sizes were still great (unlike some more pretentious higher end curry houses), and the prices were reasonable, including for the drinks (great chilli marg). The staff (served mainly by Sam) were very friendly and attentive, and the train themed decor of the restaurant was charming but still very classy. I'll definitely be coming back, I think we've found our new local curry house!
