We used to be regulars here as it used to have a really big menu with lots of choice and was reasonably priced. Sadly over the last few years the menu has been reduced to about 25% of the size it used to be (there are now only about 12-15 dishes to choose from) and the prices have gone up by about 30%. A full English (meaty or vegetarian is now £14.90, only available on weekends - and the kicker for us was they stopped allowing substitutions as well!). So if you hate mushrooms, or tomatoes then they would just go to waste. It’s a shame, but it’s now one of the most expensive places for brunch vs. similar cafes in Stokey, with a much more limited menu. It’s a real shame, but they’ve taken all the good things away.

Good food, great location, varied menu , nice coffee. Nice atmosphere- I’ve been to this cafe various times of day and on weekends and weekdays . During the week it’s a nice balance of parents with young kids, groups of adults and people working quietly. And during the weekend it’s a lot louder and fast paced with families and friends meeting for breakfast and brunch. They have lots of books for kids to read
