Went for a celebratory meal as a family with children. Accommodating and friendly service, if a bit slow with actual food delivery. Food: highlight from the starters was the bruschetta with a flavoursome pepperonata, the rest were fine. Mains included whole plaice with caper butter, chicken Milanese and grilled mackerel. All needed a little bit more seasoning for my taste but not bad. Tiramisu good, but could be boozier, and decently priced Prosecco. Could have provided a small desert for a ‘special occasion’ like similar restaurants in this price range tend to, especially considering the bill came to £350+ for 6 people.

Absolutely perfect. Relaxed, attentive staff, wine served by carafe, excellent value lunch menu and very comfy seating. Plus good hand cream in the toilets. What more do you want?

A lovely venue for a catch up with three old school friends, the most wonderful food and wine. In particular the olive oil served with focaccia was amazing. The service was friendly and attentive without being in any way obtrusive
