BELLE EPOQUE IS SUPERB!!!! My wife and I just spent ANOTHER week in Stokey (visiting our son), and once again ate there every morning. EVERYTHING we tried was delicious; our go-to's were their bread basket, their quiches, and their AMAZING chocolate almond croissant. The owners are absolutely delightful, and their back patio - with a delightful breeze blowing through - made each morning a little slice of Parisian heaven in the middle of London. Here's my previous review, from a year ago: An INCREDIBLE place to eat, with stunningly delicious pastries of all types - sweet AND savory. My wife and I recently spent a week in Stokey, visiting our son who lives just down the block from Belle Epoch, on Albion Road. This delightful little patisserie quickly became our go-to place to eat every morning! In contrast to the review below, the staff was ALWAYS very friendly and kind - even during times of peak business - and the pastries are to-die-for. I'm a huge fan of almond croissant, and theirs did not disappoint (top five ever). And when we went there for a full-on breakfast, their quiche lorraine was THE best I've EVER had - period - and served with a wonderful savory side salad. When the bitter, much-lamented last morning of our visit rolled around, we made sure to eat there for our last breakfast; and it makes me terribly sad to no longer be able to walk down the block and delight in their delicious food each morning. Can't wait to return! THANK YOU, to the staff of Belle Epoch, for helping to make our visit with our son so memorable! May your business continue to flourish in the future! :-)

Fantastic cake place! I tried all of their cakes, and they are really, really good. Sadly, the pastries aren't the best, but I'm happy with my cake choices. I would say the coffee is quite milky and light, so if you're looking for a dark roasted coffee, this might not be the place.
