The best eatery in the area. Authentic, wholesome, independent restaurant. This is my third visit to Be’La and I honestly cannot fault it. Fresh food and genuine hospitality. There are not many cafe’s where you can get proper Pide and Lahmacun cooked in a pizza oven. The Pide here is better than I have had in Istanbul. I will continue to come here as often as I can…

I am really amazed at the ability of this place to reset its Google ratings every few months, when it goes below a certain number. The food is ok, but nothing at all exceptional. On one visit I was served a mouldy burek. The vegetables are not super fresh. The oranges for orange juice can be quite stale. The workers smoke like chimneys and stink of cigarette smoke. Also, this place is not a pizza parlour. It's a solid bistro serving Turkish street food. There is no pizza oven and there never has been. In short, this place deserves no more than 4, and often just 3*.
